Obituary of Mr. Cleophus Montre Godfray
Cleophus "Montre" Godfray, son of Berkeley and Earnestine Godfray, was born on January 23, 1979 in Dillon, SC. He departed this earthly life on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at his residence in Minturn, SC.
Montre attended the public school of Dillon, SC and graduated with the Class of 1997. He was employed by King's Pizza in Dillon, SC for several years. This was his second home.
He grew up in St. James Apostolic Church, then attended several other churches.
Montre will always and forever be in our hearts. He leaves to cherish fond memories his wife, Jemele Godfray; two sons, Deonte and Michael; one daughter, Zahria; one special daughter, Jordan; his parents, Berkeley and Earnestine Godfray; two brothers, Kenneth Godfray of Clio, SC and Johnny Myers (Marilyn) of Little Rock, SC; paternal grandmother, Lula Godfray; mother-in-law, Emma Jane Bryant; special cousins, Travis Graves, George Christie and Cherelle Power and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive family and friends at 2240 Minturn Road, Minturn, SC 29536. Please continue to remember the Godfray Family in your prayers.
