Obituary of Ms. Mary Ann Nichols
Mary Ann Nichols, daughter of the late Wilbert Nichols, Sr. and Alma Ford Nichols was born on November 27, 1958.
Mary Ann answered her peaceful call from God on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Dillon Hospice House.
She was with the graduating Class of 1977 at Lake View High. She was a cheerleader and she loved to dance.
At an early age, Mary Ann was baptized at Shady Grove Baptist Church, where she served as the Sunday School Secretary while she was active. She had a heart of pure gold and a gentle spirit. Mary Ann was a loving mother and dear sister. She was well loved by everyone who knew her. She always had a smile to go with her jokes.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Ann Nichols.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories three daughters, Tabitha Nichols, Jada Nichols and Destiny Nichols; four sons, William Nichols, Quinton Nichols, Jarquis Nichols and Chavis Nichols; nine grandchildren: Quashon, Ahmarion, Jorden, Amaya, Jayden, Serenity, Jamison, Ke'adgan and McKinley; three great-grandchildren, Zamiya, Ahlashia and Camilla; five sisters(her twin) Martha Ann Nichols, Alberta Nichols Reaves, Rosie Lee Nichols, Loretta (Dupree) Coleman and Lynn Carmicheal; three brothers, Wilbert (Carolyn) Nichols, Jr., Eugene (Cynthia) Nichols and James Edward Nichols; two aunts, Betty Jean Durham and Willie Dell Ford; one great-aunt, Betty Jean Nichols; two special nephews who she raised as her own, Timothy Nichols and James Nichols; two special nieces, Bertha (Cat) Reaves and Sheneeka Paige; five devoted friends, Larry Page, Zuke Hamer, Alice Reaves, Gerlene Brigman, and Shirley Jean Nichols and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends at 174 North Fordtown Road, Lake View, SC 29563.
