Archie Timothy Brown
Born in the union of Charlie Edward and Frankie Lue Brown on September 09, 1965. He was a
lifelong resident of Latta SC. He departed this life on Friday, May 27, 2022.
Tim was preceded in death by his father. Being a Strong and Dedicated Servant, Tim provided

his family.
There was never any doubt that he was dependable and someone who could always be
counted on.
Tim answered the call to service, beginning as a dispatcher in the Latta Police Department, and
an EMT with the Volunteer Fire Department, and never stopped setting his sights on higher
goals and achievements. As a diligent and life time hard worker, Tim also served a 25 year
career as a Francis Marion University Campus Police Officer from June 1987, retiring as a
Sergeant in December of 2012.
During his tenure at Francis Marion, Tim found and married the love of his life, Tammy Russell
in 1999. Together they have 2 beautiful Children.
Through adversity and losses, Tim continually sought and achieved excellence. In 1999, Tim
earned his Bachelor of Science in Sociology. In 2009 he earned his Associates Degree of
Health Science in Nursing and also his Registered Nursing Degree. In 2011, Tim went on to
acquire his Bachelor of Science in Nursing, in 2014 earned his Master of Science in Nursing
becoming a Nursing Educator, and earned his Master of Science in Nursing becoming a Family
Nurse Practitioner in 2016.
Tim leaves to cherish his memory, a devoted family of 2 children, Justin Anton Brown of
Florence, SC & Amber Nicole Brown of Atlanta, GA, and his Significant Other, Tammy
Russell-Brown of Atlanta, GA; his mother, Mrs. Frankie Lue Brown of Latta SC; brother Edward
